After 13 years, Bullet Club is officially no more, as the faction has been dissolved following NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20 and New Year Dash.
The faction had been allied with Unaffiliated, the former members of Los Ingobernables de Japón who remained in NJPW after Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI exited the promotion, for several months. That alliance then became a merger as Yota Tsuji announced the creation of Unbound Co. at New Year Dash on January 5, with the new stable having since become official.
Tsuji addressed the dissolution of Bullet Club at a press conference on January 6 about the reinstatement of the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, noting, "the big name that is Bullet Club will go away." Tsuji noted, however, that it was a Bullet Club decision.
The members of Unbound Co. from Unaffiliated will be Yota Tsuji, Shingo Takagi, Hiromu Takahashi, and Titan. The Bullet Club members joining Unbound Co. are David Finlay, Gedo, Clark Connors, Gabe Kidd, Drilla Moloney, OSKAR, Yuto-Ice, Robbie X, and Taiji Ishimori.
Bullet Club will be remembered as one of the biggest factions in the history of pro wrestling. The stable was formed by Prince Devitt (Finn Balor), Karl Anderson, Bad Luck Fale, and Tama Tonga in 2013 and went through several iterations over the ensuing 13 years, with the likes of AJ Styles, Kenny Omega, and Jay White leading the faction before Bullet Club was dissolved with Finlay as leader.
