WWE opened up last night’s Saturday Night’s Main Event show in Tampa, Florida with a hot tag team bout that saw CM Punk & Sami Zayn take on the nefarious pairing of Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker, with Paul Heyman in their corner.

Towards the end of the match, Sami Zayn was running wild, looking set to hit his finisher on Bron Breakker. Heyman made his presence known, grabbing Zayn’s foot and distracting the referee in the process. Through the crowd, the returning Bronson Reed appeared, making his first WWE appearance since the Survivor Series premium live event last year. He bulldozed his way through CM Punk and the barricade at ringside, giving Breakker the opening to spear Zayn and win the match.

After the bell rang, Reed entered the ring and was hugged by Rollins, who brought him into the fold of his new faction. Reed was ruled out with an injury at Survivor Series, breaking his foot following a massive splash from the top of the WarGames cage. It was reported soon after Rollins’ heel turn that this new faction was likely to feature more names, resembling the likes of Evolution or the Dangerous Alliance. Saturday Night's Main Event was one of multiple returns, as Cody Rhodes also made his comeback.
