Cody Rhodes has been absent from WWE programming ever since his loss in the main event of WrestleMania 41 to John Cena, with it being unclear when exactly he’d be back. There were rumblings of him being planned for the Money In The Bank 2025 premium live event next month in a match involving the likes of Cena, Logan Paul, Travis Scott and The Usos, and it seems as though there is some credibility to those reports.
In the main event of Saturday Night’s Main Event last night, Jey Uso was attacked by Undisputed WWE John Cena, following on from a brief interaction between the pair backstage earlier on in the show. Before Cena could cost Uso his World Heavyweight Championship, Rhodes made his big comeback, hitting the ring and laying out Cena with a Cross Rhodes. Uso rallied, hitting a spear on Logan Paul to score the win and defend his World Heavyweight Title.
After the match, Rhodes took to the mic and issued a challenge for Money In The Bank 2025 - he & Uso against Cena & Paul. Reports have heavily suggested an involvement of some kind from Travis Scott, so he could well be added to the mix in the upcoming weeks prior to the show.
