Baron Corbin Wrestles Dark Match Before AEW Dynamite

The former Baron Corbin - AKA Bishop Dyer - made an appearance for All Elite Wrestling on Wednesday night, working a dark match before AEW Dynamite from the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida.

Dyer teamed with Better Together (Hadar Horvitz & Ori Gold) and Martin Stone (FKA Danny Burch) in a dark match loss to Billy Gunn, Austin Gunn, Brady Booker, and Elijah Drago. Dyer received plenty of cheers from the fans in attendance throughout the match.

It is currently unknown whether Dyer's appearance was simply a one-off or if he is planned to work more with All Elite Wrestling.

Bishop Dyer has been a free agent since his WWE contract expired at the end of 2024. He was a regular for Major League Wrestling and Maple Leaf Wrestling and Dyer is one-half of the reigning MLW World Tag Team Champions with his Skyscrapers partner Donovan Dijak.

During his 12-year run with WWE as Baron Corbin, the 41-year-old became a one-time United States Champion, and one-time NXT Tag Team Champion & Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic winner with Bron Breakker. He also won the 2017 Money in the Bank Ladder match, the 2019 King of the Ring, and the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32.
