Ring Of Honor took over the Esports Stadium Arlington in Arlington, Texas on Friday night for the yearly Supercard Of Honor PPV, and it featured plenty of big matches across the card with several titles on the line. The show was headlined with an acclaimed ROH World Championship match in which reigning champion Bandido successfully defended his title against challenger Konosuke Takeshita of the Don Callis Family.

In what isn’t a surprise to learn given the quality of Supercard Of Honor’s headliner, Fightful Select have reported that the match between Takeshita and Bandido received “rave reviews” internally in ROH and AEW. The pair have both been heavily featured on AEW programming in recent weeks, and met again in the Casino Gauntlet match at AEW All In Texas 2025 - something the fans reacted big for following on from their classic bout on the night prior in ROH.

Bandido’s reign continues after this win, stretching past 98 days. His reign began back at AEW Dynasty 2025 when he defeated former champion Chris Jericho, kickstarting his second reign as the ROH World Champion.
