Backstage News On MJF Winning The Casino Gauntlet At AEW All In

MJF was one of several wrestlers who stood tall at AEW All In Texas 2025 last night, emerging victorious in the men’s Casino Gauntlet match. Outlasting a field that included Mark Briscoe, Brody King, Konosuke Takeshita, Josh Alexander, Juice Robinson, Ricochet, Mistico, Anthony Bowens, Bandido, Kota Ibushi, Max Caster and Roderick Strong, MJF scored himself a guaranteed AEW World Title shot. 

When it comes to the backstage plans surrounding MJF at All In 2025, Fightful Select has learned more. It is noted that the plans for MJF winning the Casino Gauntlet were locked in at least a few weeks ago, with this indicating that it may have been discussed for longer before that. Some fans were speculating in the lead up to All In about a potential MJF vs. Mistico match before he then earned himself a spot in the Casino Gauntlet as the number two entrant. 

In the weeks leading up to All In, MJF engaged in a feud with Mark Briscoe, something that came about due to MJF reportedly pushing for it as he was wanting to work with Briscoe.
