Jake Something looked set to be a featured performer as part of TNA Thursday Night IMPACT's move to AMC, being placed in adverts for the AMC debut, but the 36-year-old has jumped ship to All Elite Wrestling.

Ahead of the January 7 episode of Dynamite, Something made his return to AEW and laid out "Speedball" Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight. Something then revealed his new name of Jake Doyle (his real-life name) before he was confirmed as the latest member of the Don Callis Family.

Fightful Select has reported that Jake Doyle signed with AEW in recent days after his TNA deal expired on January 1. As hinted in his appearance, Doyle is expected to appear regularly alongside another Don Callis Family member in Mark Davis.

Jake Doyle previously wrestled for AEW in 2022, working three matches on Dark where he put over Jay Lethal, Danhausen, and Matt Sydal in between stints with TNA Wrestling. Doyle initially performed for TNA on a full-time basis from 2019 until 2022 before he returned to the Anthem-owned promotion in the summer of 2023.

Despite performing for TNA for several years, Something never held gold in the promotion, although he was regularly featured in the X-Division Title picture. Something was also prominently featured on the United States independent wrestling scene, performing for the likes of Wrestling REVOLVER and DEADLOCK Pro Wrestling.
