TNA Wrestling held their annual Call Your Shot Gauntlet at Bound for Glory and the match featured a TNA debut as "Big Trouble" Ben Bishop attacked Jada Stone from behind during her entrance, taking her #19 spot in the gauntlet. Bishop's debut didn't exactly go to plan, though, as Jade Stone re-entered the match and eliminated Bishop after around one minute.
It is unknown if Big Trouble has signed with TNA, but the company had long considered bringing the giant in to work for the organisation and they have had their eye on Bishop since 2025, according to Fightful Select.
Ben Bishop's name was reportedly thrown around on a regular basis dating back to past TNA regimes, but sources within TNA noted Tommy Dreamer, who was a key figure in TNA creative until June 2026, was not a fan of Bishop's social media clips. Others, however, thought Bishop's social media should have been a big positive towards him being booked by TNA.
Tommy Dreamer issued the following statement to Fightful about Ben Bishop: "I’ve been working with Ben a lot lately on trying to better him. I like him. He had a tryout that didn’t go well a long time ago. I told him I don't think his social media is helping him get hired other places. He has improved in ring so much, hopefully someone picks him up."
Ben Bishop has been wrestling on the indies since 2021. He previously had a tryout for WWE in the summer of 2025 but was not signed by the company.
