Ash By Elegance Vacates TNA Knockouts Title

It is bad news for fans of TNA’s Knockouts division as Ash By Elegance’s reign as TNA Knockouts World Champion has now come to an end… though not in the way many would have hoped. Ash By Elegance shocked fans when she defeated Jacy Jayne and Masha Slamovich in a triple threat match at the recent NXT Heatwave event to win the gold for the first time in her career. However, she emerged on last night’s TNA Victory Road event to announce that she was vacating the title. 

Ash By Elegance didn’t provide a reason outside of revealing that she was unable to compete and needed to relinquish the gold. She was emotional as she handed over the title to TNA president Carlos Silva before hugging Santino Marella and leaving the ring. It isn’t known whether this is an injury-related decision. 

A battle royal would then take place, won by Lei Ying Lee and Kelani Jordan, who battled later on in the night for the vacant title. NXT’s Kelani Jordan emerged victorious, becoming the brand new TNA Knockouts World Champion. 

Ash By Elegance was initially set to defend the title against Masha Slamovich, but with the emergence of domestic abuse allegations, Slamovish was taken off advertising for the show.
