AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT are set to go head-to-head for the first time in 2025 in early October.

All Elite Wrestling have announced that Dynamite: Title Tuesday will be held on Tuesday, October 7. The show will take place as part of Homecoming tapings - including Collision on Wednesday, October 8 - from Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida. Dynamite has been moved to Tuesday night due to coverage of the Major League Baseball Playoffs, which regularly happens in early October. 2024's Title Tuesday on October 8 averaged one of the lowest viewerships in the history of Dynamite with 329,000 viewers and a 0.10 rating.

AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT last went head-to-head on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 due to the US presidential election. WWE held a special ECW-inspired edition of NXT from Philadelphia's 2300 Arena and the show averaged 619,000 viewers and a 0.17 rating in the key 18-49 demographic on The CW. AEW Dynamite averaged 523,000 viewers and a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demo on TBS.

WWE NXT premium live events have often gone head-to-head with AEW pay-per-views in 2025 due to WWE counterprogramming Tony Khan's promotion. A main roster pay-per-view will air on the same day as an AEW pay-per-view for the first time on September 20 when an as-yet-unannounced WWE pay-per-view with Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena as the main event airs against AEW All Out.
