All Elite Wrestling have announced the famous 2300 Arena (AKA ECW Arena) will hold a multi-week residency of AEW Dynamite and Collision tapings later this year, alongside ROH Death Before Dishonor. The residency will be the first time AEW have held shows at the historic venue.
The residency will begin with the post-AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door edition of Dynamite on Wednesday, August 27 and conclude with the Thursday, September 11 taping of AEW Collision.
The following dates have been announced for the residency:
"We are thrilled to bring AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision to the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia from August 27 – September 11. This residency has been years in the making, highlighted by an overwhelming demand from both fans and media alike for this legendary venue to host AEW events. I look forward to returning to the 2300 Arena for the first time since I was 13 years old and bring our passionate fans in Philadelphia an incredible few weeks of AEW shows this summer," Tony Khan said.
Due to the 2300 Arena's iconic status, pro wrestling events continue to be regularly held at the venue. WWE NXT, MLW, TNA, and NJPW have all held shows at the venue in recent years. Tony Khan revealed following AEW Dynasty - the promotion's first pay-per-view in Philadelphia - that he was very interested in running events from the former ECW Arena.
AEW previously had a Summer residency at Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas in 2024, taping Collision and Ring of Honor from July 20 to August 17 at the venue. AEW management were very happy with the residency.
