Chazz 'Starboy' Hall, who made his debut on the April 1 episode of WWE EVOLVE alongside Santi Rivera and CJ Valor, shares his name with a convicted murderer.
The wrestler formerly known as Starboy Charlie is officially signed to a WWE ID deal, and his new ring name was revealed upon his EVOLVE debut, which was taped back in February. Hall kicked off his time in WWE EVOLVE with a win, defeating Rivera and Valor in a Triple Threat match.
In addition to being used by the WWE ID talent, 'Chazz Hall' is actually the name of a convicted murderer in New Zealand. A New Zealand Herald article about the murder also appears on the front page when Googling 'Chazz Hall' as of the time of writing.

Chazz Hayden Hall was convicted in 2017 of murdering Victoria Foster, the mother of his then-five-year-old daughter. He was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum term of 15 and a half years. Hall murdered his ex-partner by firing a shotgun through her mouth on October 26, 2015 after she ended their relationship that night and told him to leave her home.
Hall pleaded guilty to murdering Foster, as well as recklessly discharging a firearm, unlawful possession of the weapon, dangerous driving, and threatening to kill over a police car chase after Hall fled Foster's home following the murder.
WWE have previously had issues with renaming talents. The company seemingly planned to rename the then-WALTER to Gunther Stark before it was revealed that Gunther Stark was the name of a German U-boat commander during World War Two. The company ultimately renamed WALTER to Gunther.
It was also revealed shortly after Blake Monroe's WWE NXT debut that it was also the name of a former adult film star. WWE did not change Monroe's name in this instance.
