Charles Robinson, fortunately, won't be rabid on WWE programming any time in the near future despite a health scare in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The WWE referee has revealed on Instagram that he was rushed to the emergency room after being bitten by a bat at 2 am, which resulted in him getting vaccinations.
Robinson wrote: "Great way to start the morning. 2:00am and got bit by a bat. That's right a bat! 4 hours later in the ER and six shots. #animalattacks #hospital."
While the risk of contracting bat rabies is low, it is recommended that you contact a medical professional straight away following a bat bite. Prompt treatment with a rabies vaccine after possible exposure to the disease is effective at preventing rabies, which can be fatal for humans if left untreated.
Outside of his real life, Charles Robinson has had an eventful 2025 on WWE TV. He was wiped out with a shoulder tackle from John Cena at WWE Night of Champions, a spot which drew huge laughter backstage at the pay-per-view. Little Naitch also received a spear from Goldberg during the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion's retirement match on the July 12 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event.
