WWE Yet To Approach Karrion Kross About Contract Extension

WWE have yet to open negotiations with Karrion Kross over a contract extension, according to a new report.

Following previous reports that Kross was in a contract year with the company, Fightful Select noted that the former NXT Champion's deal is up this summer.

As best as Fightful can tell, Kross has a few months remaining on his contract. The report added that, per WWE sources, the company have not approached the 39-year-old about an extension or renewal and they haven't heard if WWE have indicated any interest in doing so.

In the past, WWE have typically told talent that they will not be renewed within a month or so of when their deals expire. Of late, however, they are happy to keep performers on television up until informing them they will not be renewed.

This past week, R-Truth and Carlito revealed that they will leave WWE once their current contracts run out. Sarah Logan also announced her contract was not being renewed.

In April, it was reported that Kross was scheduled to receive more of a push on WWE TV. Since that report, Kross has wrestled a few matches on Main Event.
