WWE will look to get the jump on All Elite Wrestling in Philadelphia, with the company announcing that NXT will be taped from the City of Brotherly Love just one week before AEW begin their residency at the 2300 Arena.

WWE announced today that NXT will emanate from the Met Philadelphia on Tuesday, August 19. The opera house has a capacity of 3,500, with tickets going on general sale on Wednesday, July 9 at 10 am ET.

August 19 is just days before All Elite Wrestling begins a residency at Philadelphia's 2300 Arena with the August 27 episode of AEW Dynamite. All Elite Wrestling will tape multiple episodes of Collision and Dynamite from the former ECW Arena, as well as ROH Death Before Dishonor, before finishing up on Thursday, September 11.

WWE have actively looked to counter-programme AEW shows in 2025, including this coming weekend with WWE holding three shows around AEW All In, including NXT Great American Bash which will go head-to-head with AEW's biggest pay-per-view of the year.
