WWE Plans For Women's Tag Team Title Match At WrestleMania 42 Revealed

The WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania 42 will reportedly be a multi-woman match.

According to BodySlam, WWE's current plans will see The Irresistible Forces of Nia Jax & Lash Legend face Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss, the Bella Twins, and Bayley & Lyra Valkyria for the Women's Tag Team Titles over WWE's biggest weekend of the year.

Nia Jax & Lash Legend, Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss, and Bayley & Lyra Valkyria have been involved in the WWE Women's Tag Team Title picture for the past several months, with Flair and Bliss holding the belts for 100 days from August to November 2025.

The Irresistible Forces defeated Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY for the titles on the February 27 episode of SmackDown. Bayley and Valkyria unsuccessfully challenged for the straps on the October 27, 2025 episode of Raw and they failed to win a number one contenders' match back in January.

The Bella Twins reunited at the Royal Rumble when Brie Bella made her return to WWE in the women's Royal Rumble match. They quickly set their sights on the Women's Tag Team Championships and their match against Nia Jax and Lash Legend for the belts on the March 20 edition of SmackDown ended in a no contest.

WrestleMania 42 will emanate from Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19.
