WWE will be heading to Italy for a pay-per-view in 2026.

WWE President Nick Khan revealed to SportBusiness that Italy will be hosting a WWE premium live event/pay-per-view early next year. Further details about the event were not revealed, but WWE have often held the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in between Royal Rumble and WrestleMania in recent years.

The pay-per-view will coincide with WWE's weekly programming moving to Netflix in Italy as WWE shows currently air on Warner Bros. Discovery networks in the country.

The 2026 show will be WWE's first-ever pay-per-view in Italy. WWE taped SmackDown from Bologna earlier this year as part of the company's pre-WrestleMania European tour.

WWE have held more pay-per-views outside of North America in recent years, with the likes of Bash in Berlin, Clash in Paris, Money in the Bank, and Backlash all taking place across Europe.

"Almost half of our premium live events take place outside of the United States now. We believe WWE is a global property, we believe the results on these shows both in terms of attendance and viewership [locally and globally] have been significant. We have seen year-over-year increases for viewership on each one," Khan said about the company hosting more international pay-per-views.
