WWE Discussing Potential Double Turn For WrestleMania Match

WrestleMania 42 is just one week away, and while ticket sales are still limping along at a current rate of around 19% lower than this time last year, some reports of plans for the event are beginning to be potentially revealed. For those who have paid to attend the show in Las Vegas, Nevada, they may be in store for a big double turn inside Allegiant Stadium. 

According to a report from BodySlam+, WWE has discussed the idea of booking a double turn in the United States Championship match between Sami Zayn and Trick Williams. This comes from the fact that Zayn has been on the receiving end of an increasing level of boos from audiences as recent weeks have gone on, while Williams’ popularity has been on the rise too, despite Zayn being a babyface and Williams a heel. 

It was noted over the last couple of months that WWE had considered the possibility of turning Williams babyface due to how over he’s become in such a short space of time since getting called up to the main roster from NXT earlier this year.
