WWE are claiming that ticket sales for WrestleMania 42 have "surged" in recent weeks.
The claim was made to Sports Business Journal, who reported: "A source close to WWE said ticket sales have surged in recent weeks and projected that the event remains headed toward one of the top gates in WWE history."
According to WrestleTix as of April 14, WrestleMania Saturday had 42,715 tickets distributed, while 43,394 tickets had been distributed for WrestleMania Sunday. Since April 1, 4334 tickets have been distributed for night one of WrestleMania, and 3391 tickets have been moved for night two.
Overall, though, WWE tickets have moved slowly since late December. As of the first count from WrestleTix on December 24, 2025 there had been 35,793 tickets sold for night one and 36,054 tickets for night two.
As of Friday, April 10, ticket sales for WrestleMania 42 were down 19 per cent compared to 2025's WrestleMania 41, with both shows taking place at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium.
WWE have been criticised over the price of WrestleMania 42 tickets, although there have been a number of sales and discounts announced by WWE over the past several weeks, including 31.6 per cent off WrestleMania tickets on March 16. The promo codes 'REBELS' and 'CAESARS' allow fans to currently get 25 per cent off WrestleMania 42 tickets
WWE have also dropped ticket prices. The cheapest one-day ticket in mid-February was priced at $266. That same ticket today can be purchased for $153.95 using a 25 per cent off promo code. The cheapest two-day ticket, meanwhile, has dropped from $738 in mid-February to $307.85 using a discount code today.
Regardless, due to how expensive the tickets are, WrestleMania 42 will be one of the largest gates in pro wrestling history. The current biggest gate in industry history is 2025's WrestleMania 41 as WWE sold a total of 113,142 tickets across the two nights to draw over $66 million, with each night setting a gate record. A major reason for the new record gate was due to the average price of WrestleMania 41 tickets being a record high of $635.
Ticket prices for WWE events have, on average, doubled since the completion of the WWE-UFC merger under TKO Group Holdings in September 2023.
