Ever wondered what former WWE star Gene Snitsky is up to these days? Of course you have.
The big man (who wrestled for WWE between 2004 and 2008) recently appeared on the Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw podcast, where he revealed details about his post-wrestling life.
These days, the 55-year-old runs a military and survival gear store named Priority One Surplus in Hamburg, Pennsylvania.
When asked by co-host Gerald Brisco about how the gig came about, Snitsky said:
"Buddy of mine started it with his son back in the day, and I was kind of getting done doing the film stuff, and he asked me if I wanted to get involved, and then said, 'Sure, I'll give it a shot'. See you again. See how it is. And nine years later, here we are".
When asked by JBL about what the store sells, Snitsky said:
"Oh, man, we sell a little everything. We sell survival stuff, camping gear, clothing, collectible, military stuff, knives, ammo, Mags, boots, it was best, plate carriers. We dabble in a little everything".
He added that they don't sell guns ("too much of a headache"), but do sell "tonnes" of ammunition. The store employs military veterans and has a strong military ethos, as Snitsky's father and brother (who have both passed away) served.
Though Snitsky is essentially retired from wrestling, he still makes occasional appearances on independent shows and wrestled two singles matches for MLW in 2023. His last in-ring action was in the Clusterf*ck Battle Royal at a GCW show over WrestleMania 41 weekend.
