Violent J Breaks Silence On Vince Russo's Juggalo Championship Wrestling Exit

Violent J of the Insane Clown Posse has addressed Vince Russo's departure from Juggalo Championship Wrestling, heaping praise upon his former colleague.

"Vince Russo has been nothing short of a massive blessing for JCW and for me in my personal life. Originally, we planned a two or three-month run together and we ended up going an entire year. Every single time I saw his face on Lunacy, it gave me chills. I feel forever indebted to the man and I’ll always love him and miss having his legendary presence on the show," Violent J told Undisputed.

"I have been writing wrestling storylines since I was backyard wrestling at 14 years old, and I've been writing storylines throughout the first 26 years of JCW. Yet I've learned more over this past year working with Vince Russo than I'd ever known. I'm extremely excited to get back behind the wheel and deliver a brand-new era of JCW fans will never forget and will make Vince Russo extremely proud. Nothing to it but to do it, so let’s rock."

Vince Russo joined Juggalo Championship Wrestling as an investor and booker in October 2025. Russo was also featured on JCW Lunacy as a heel on-screen authority figure in a feud with Violent J, with Russo's final act being the introduction of Game Changer Wrestling into Juggalo Championship Wrestling, with Team GCW set to take on the JWO at the special Carnival of Chaos 100th episode of JCW Lunacy on September 24.

Vince Russo announced on Wednesday, September 23 that he and Juggalo Championship Wrestling had mutually agreed to part ways, with Russo noting he had been unhappy in the promotion for a while. The primary motivation behind Russo's exit, however, was simply his age.
