Update On Plans For 2025 WWE Draft

A new report has shed some light on WWE's plans for the Draft, after previous reports suggested it could happen after WrestleMania 41 and then at the end of May.

According to BodySlam.net, the Draft could happen after SummerSlam:

"The last I heard about the WWE Draft was that they have been considering doing it post-SummerSlam, most likely as a tie-in to the season premiere episodes in September. With the recent call ups, there hasn't been a real reason to now reshuffle the rosters as storylines are still ongoing, so whether this means post-SummerSlam PLE, or post-Clash in Paris PLE – is yet to be determined. But In time for season premiere episodes? I would confidently say yes."

The last WWE Draft took place after WrestleMania XL in April and May of 2024. WWE brought back several legends, including Hall of Famers like The Dudley Boys, The APA and Alundra Blayze.

Though WWE stars are ostensibly exclusive on one brand, we have regularly seen wrestlers show up on both Raw and SmackDown, and in some cases in NXT.
