Update On Penelope Ford & Kip Sabian's AEW Status

Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford won't be leaving All Elite Wrestling anytime in the near future.

Amidst speculation over the married couple's status with AEW, Fightful Select has reported that it was implied to the outlet that Sabian and Ford had re-signed with AEW at some point and they have years remaining on their AEW contracts. When exactly Sabian and Ford put pen to paper on new deals is unknown but the re-signing seemingly would have been at some point between August 2023 and September 2026, with Sabian noting in the summer of 2023 that he had signed a contract extension.

Both Sabian and Ford are currently absent from AEW programming. Ford has been out of action since she sustained an ankle injury in February 2026, with Megan Bayne teaming with Lena Kross in Ford's absence. Kip Sabian is not believed to be dealing with an injury, but he has not been utilised on AEW TV since September 2025. He had been a part of The Patriarchy, and then The Matriarchy with Nick Wayne and Killswitch, but that faction quietly disbanded after Nick Wayne sustained an injury and Killswitch reunited with Jack Perry as Luchasaurus at All Out 2025. Sabian has only wrestled once in 2026 in a 10-man tag team match at the April 22, 2026, taping of ROH TV.

Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford have been a part of All Elite Wrestling since 2019. Sabian even wrestled in AEW's second-sever match, picking up the win over Sammy Guevara at the Double or Nothing 2019 pre-show.
