AEW & ROH star Deonna Purrazzo has been out of action over the past month, as the reigning ROH Women’s Pure Champion was unable to complete her match with Steph De Lander at ROH’s June 22 tapings for episodes of ROH TV on HonorClub & MyAEW, with the referee stopping the action after Purrazzo was injured in a spot on the floor. It might not be long until she’s back in the ring though.
Speaking on Jeremy Lambert’s In The Weeds 24-hour charity livestream, Purrazzo was asked to comment about her current condition and when she’d wrestle again, to which she revealed that she would hopefully be back sooner rather than later.
“So I’m working on getting medically cleared. Hot scoop, right? So I was at TV earlier (Collision taping) just to see the medical team…”
This suggests that Purrazzo might be on ROH programming in the near future, with her injury seemingly not a long-term one. Over the last month, Purrazzo also revealed a worrying story involving a stalker, which the police failed to follow up on with a report.
