A WWE Royal Rumble 2001 t-shirt that was being sold at pop culture clothing store Hot Topic recently went viral for all of the wrong reasons after it emerged that an image of Titus O'Neil had been used instead of Test, who was supposed to be one of the featured WWE wrestlers on the t-shirt along with the likes of Kane, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Kurt Angle, and The Honky Tonk Man.

Titus O'Neil, of course, is not Test, and O'Neil did not begin wrestling until 2009, several years after Royal Rumble 2001 took place. Test was a participant in the 2001 Royal Rumble match, entering at #22 and lasting two minutes before he was eliminated by The Big Show. Test passed away in 2009.

Within a Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp noted that Hot Topic sold "quite a few" of the botched t-shirts because of the error and there were many double orders from customers. This typically occurs when an individual orders one t-shirt to wear and another to sell immediately or keep wrapped in the hopes of making a profit on a future resale of the t-shirt.

The t-shirt was pulled from sale soon after the botch went viral and it is no longer available for purchase from Hot Topic.
