Brock Lesnar may have been moved to the alumni section of the roster page on WWE.com, but that doesn't necessarily mean the 48-year-old is actually retired.
According to PWInsider, Brock Lesnar is still listed as an active performer internally by WWE. Lesnar is categorised as a "free agent" and is not assigned to any WWE brand. This further clouds whether or not Brock Lesnar is actually retired from professional wrestling.
Brock Lesnar seemingly retired at WrestleMania 42 following his defeat at the hands of Oba Femi in the opening match of night two. Lesnar left his MMA gloves and boots in the ring and signalled an 'X' to the crowd to suggest his retirement was legitimate. Lesnar then embraced Paul Heyman and made his way to the back, waving to the crowd as he did so.
Since WrestleMania 42, Lesnar has been moved to the "Forever" section of the "Then. Now. Forever" opening to WWE programming, and he was moved to the alumni section of the roster page last week.
There was doubt within WWE about whether Lesnar was retired following WrestleMania, and the expectation prior to the company's biggest weekend of the year was the former WWE Champion would retire in 2026, with SummerSlam being considered a more likely spot for his final match.
