Professional wrestling and politics will collide again today as WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque is scheduled to be at the White House for WWE Hall of Famer and current President of the United States Donald Trump's signing of an executive order.

According to CNN, President Trump will be joined by the likes of Triple H, Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, and former NFL linebacker and WrestleMania XI main eventer Lawrence Taylor to sign an executive order re-establishing the Presidential Fitness Test.

First introduced in the late 1950s by President Dwight D. Eisenhower, the Presidential Fitness Test created school-based programmes that reward achievements in physical education. The test was replaced in 2013 by the Presidential Youth Fitness Program which emphasised living an active and healthy lifestyle.

The order will also instruct the President's Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition to partner with pro athletes, sports organisations, and influential figures, with many of the individuals at the executive order signing today set to become formal members of the council.

The test will be administered by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr, who met with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon earlier this year to discuss the President's Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition.

WWE and Donald Trump have been linked for decades and former WWE CEO Linda McMahon currently serves as the United States Secretary of Education. Triple H sat behind his mother-in-law during her confirmation hearing, and the WWE Chief Content Officer also celebrated New Year's Eve at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort.
