Preparations for season two of WWE: Unreal are well underway and two of the topics that will be covered in the Netflix series have been revealed.
BodySlam has reported that several WWE wrestlers will be interviewed for season two of the show in the near future, including Seth Rollins, R-Truth, IYO SKY, Becky Lynch, Naomi, Penta, and Lyra Valkyria. Two of the topics that will be covered in the new season are Seth Rollins' road to cashing in the Money in the Bank contract at SummerSlam and R-Truth's contract expiration.
R-Truth's WWE status was a mini saga in the summer of 2025 as Ron Killings announced on June 1 that WWE would be allowing his contract to expire. Over the next week, though, "We Want Truth" was loudly chanted at WWE events, while Truth's departure received an overwhelmingly negative reaction within the WWE locker room. This led to Truth's return in the main event of Money in the Bank and he signed a new deal with the company. WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H tried to claim immediately after Money in the Bank that Truth's exit was a work, but that was debunked by R-Truth himself.
Seth Rollins, meanwhile, faked an injury on the July 12 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event which led to the 'Ruse of the Century' at SummerSlam where Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to defeat CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship. The decision for WWE to work much of the locker room led to unhappiness amongst the WWE roster.
Season one of WWE: Unreal was released on Netflix on Tuesday, July 29 and provided a behind-the-scenes look at WWE creative from late 2024 until WrestleMania 41.
