Through an acquisition from the British streaming service DAZN, TKO Group Holdings - the parent company of WWE and UFC - will become a minority shareholder in the platform.
It was announced today that DAZN will acquire EverPass Media and the agreement will see the launch of DAZN for Business, a "dedicated media platform serving bars, restaurants, hotels, and other commercial venues across the world." EverPass holds the commercial rights to many of the major sporting events in the United States and the company is responsible for providing the infrastructure for those events to air at bars, hotels, and other commercial venues.
TKO were an investor in EverPass and the merger will see the company become a minority stakeholder in DAZN as a result of DAZN's acquisition of EverPass. Other organisations that will end up with shares in DAZN includes the NFL's 32 Equity investment arm and RedBird Capital Partners.
TKO - in addition to WWE and UFC - are already the parent company of Professional Bull Riders, Zuffa Boxing, On Location, and IMG. TKO was formed in September 2023 when UFC and WWE merged.
DAZN are already involved in professional wrestling as the streaming platform carries AEW pay-per-views, including the upcoming All In 2026 show from Wembley Stadium.
