Tiffany Stratton Vs. Trish Stratus Official For WWE Evolution

Tiffany Stratton’s opponent for the Evolution 2025 premium live event has officially been revealed, and she will do battle with ally and hero, WWE Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus. On last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Trish Stratus made her return to WWE programming in order to make the match official. 

WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton engaged in a war of words with Queen Of The Ring winner Jade Cargill on SmackDown, until Stratton revealed that she didn’t want to wait until SummerSlam to put her title on the line, instead having her sights set on a defence at Evolution. This brought out Stratus, with Stratton offering her a title match for the show. Earlier this year, Stratus and Stratton teamed up at the WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 event to defeat the duo of Nia Jax and Candice LeRae in Stratus’ hometown of Toronto. 

Stratus spoke on the importance of the Evolution event and the development of women’s wrestling over the years, before considering the prospect of being an eight-time champion in WWE. Stratton declared that she wouldn’t go easy on Stratus. Plenty of talk has circulated regarding Evolution in recent days, such as a potential return and cameo from TNA stars, in addition to the favourite to win the number one contender Battle Royal.
