Tiffany Stratton’s path to WWE WrestleMania 41 took an unprecedented turn after infamously going off script during a promo exchange with Charlotte Flair. But Stratton stands by her actions.

The WWE Women’s Champion brought up Flair’s personal life and recent divorce from Andrade as part of an awkward promo segment in April 2025. Taking to Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, Stratton revealed she had to apologise to Flair as a result of her comments:

“Things were heated, very competitive. I’m also competitive, trying to prove to Charlotte Flair I can go, I can stand up to her, I’m worthy of this title,” Stratton said. “So yeah, s*** got heated, we went off script. It happens. I did have to apologise.”

Stratton continued, noting how she felt justified in going off-script:

“I’m someone that can embrace being wrong. I had no problem apologising. I think what I did was justified, but maybe I shouldn’t have gone that far. But I do feel that I was justified by what I did,” said Stratton.

Tiffy would go on to defeat Flair at WWE WrestleMania XLI.
