Starboy Charlie Signed To WWE ID Deal

Another independent wrestler has signed with the WWE ID programme, it has been revealed.

BodySlam has reported that Starboy Charlie has a deal with WWE and it is believed to be a WWE ID contract. Charlie worked the latest WWE EVOLVE tapings at the WWE Performance Center on Saturday, February 21.

Starboy Charlie has been wrestling since 2016 and he has established himself as one of the top names on the United States independent wrestling scene. In 2025, Starboy Charlie performed for the likes of West Coast Pro, DEFY, and GCW, and he also worked for NOAH and Marvelous in Japan.

Starboy Charlie wrestled for All Elite Wrestling on three occasions, including a March 2025 episode of AEW Collision where he teamed with Titus Alexander and Jack Banning against The Opps of Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and HOOK.

Elsewhere in WWE EVOLVE, the brand's new general manager will reportedly be Timothy Thatcher. The former GHC Tag Team Champion has been working with the WWE ID programme and has wrestled several matches on EVOLVE alongside his independent wrestling bookings. He will replace Stevie Turner, who was released in October 2025.
