After 11 months away from TV, a long-absent talent returned to All Elite Wrestling during the Collision 100 taping on Wednesday night, with the show scheduled to air on Saturday, July 5.

Max Caster held another of his Best Wrestler Alive open challenges during the taping which was answered by Scorpio Sky. The 42-year-old was accompanied to the ring by Top Flight and Christopher Daniels, and Sky picked up the win over Caster after 55 seconds.

July 2 was Scorpio Sky's first appearance on AEW TV since August 2024 and it was his first match for the promotion since September 2023 when he lost to Andrade El Idolo. Sky's most recent match for Ring of Honor occurred on October 7, 2023 when he defeated Darius Martin.

Scorpio Sky addressed his absence from All Elite Wrestling earlier this year, noting that he was unsure why he had been benched by the promotion. Tony Khan then addressed the situation at the media scrum following Double or Nothing, noting that he liked Sky and would use him when the right was right after initial plans for Sky fell through.

Scorpio Sky has been a part of All Elite Wrestling since the promotion's inception. He is a one-time AEW World Tag Team Champion with Frankie Kazarian and two-time TNT Champion.
