Following confirmation by the Berwyn Police Department that Krule was not stabbed following Ruthless Pro Wrestling's event from the Berwyn Eagles Club on March 28, Mickie Knuckles and new RPW part-owner Rickey Shane Page have issued statements.

Page, who noted on Blvd Bullies that he didn't know if Krule was stabbed but that Krule may have sustained a wound during his death match with SHLAK at the March 28 event, wrote on X/Twitter:

"For those of you asking me to make a statement, as I said when interviewed by BLVD Bullies last week, before I left for a planned vacation, I didn't witness the incident in person. I was on the other side of the room and while I knew there was some sort of commotion, my view of the incident was obstructed. I apologize if my tone came off as dismissive.

"I did not become a co-owner of RPW until after the 'Omega' event. Because of this, I am not involved or privy to any investigations or details of those investigations. I have not contributed to the current narrative regarding the incident. Any implication that it was somehow a 'work' or 'storyline' is patently false. Check the sources.

"I have remained in contact with the management at Berwyn Eagles and have offered to assist them in any way to make sure that they are able to continue their legacy of hosting the wrestling shows Chicago deserves. I look forward to continuing working with them in any capacity going forward. Thank you."

It was alleged following the March 28 RPW event that Krule was stabbed by a fan during an altercation. Lou Nixon, who shared footage of a fan being attacked by several wrestlers as he made his way out of the building following an altercation with Krule, claimed to Cultaholic on March 29 that Krule and the fan had issues throughout the night and the fan must have "shanked" Krule after the individual tackled the wrestler following a confrontation at the merchandise table. Mickie Knuckles also claimed there was a stabbing, going so far as to say where Krule was stabbed.

Following confirmation from the authorities there was no stabbing, however, Knuckles posted an apology on Facebook.

"I'm sorry. I believed a lie and helped spread misinformation. I can promise you this was done unknowingly which proves I'm a bigger fool and more gullible than I already thought I was, but I believe in accountability and owning up to one's actions and words and admitting fault and blame. All I can do is continue to learn and grow from lessons learned. To err is human and we are all endowed with our own faults. Myself included," Knuckles stated.

"Maybe others have it right when they become bitter, jaded and skeptical of those around them. Maybe it would do me good to take a page out of their book for a change and stop trying to read with rose colored glasses on all the time. You would think given my history I would have completely wrote off any decency in mankind but the hope in me refuses to die. There's no logic on why I'm so hopeful other than I truly want to believe the best in people," she added.

"Here's to trying to be more skeptical going forward. #justkeepswimming."

The police report, released to POST Wrestling following a Freedom of Information request, noted that Detective William Massuci began investigating the fan incident after being alerted to the Cultaholic article from March 29. Massuci then reached out to someone identified in the report as the manager of Ruthless Pro Wrestling, and they stated that Krule "was not stabbed." The manager's account of the incident was that an intoxicated fan attacked Krule and tackled him to the ground, at which point they continued to punch Krule several times. Wrestlers then got the fan off Krule and escorted the fan out of the building.

Krule was also contacted by Detective Massuci, and told the detective that "Some guy was causing problems all night and came up to him at the end of the night and struck him several times and tackled him to the ground. His peers then got the fan off of him and took matters into their own hands."

The police report noted the case was closed, stating there was no stabbing and that Krule did not wish to pursue any criminal complaints.

Doubt over if there was a stabbing quickly emerged, with an anonymous source telling Cultaholic on March 29 there wasn't a stabbing and they believed the story was invented to "save face and to not look bad on the internet." GCW owner Brett Lauderdale then described the incident as a "fake stabbing." Video footage of the altercation, which later emerged, also showed that Krule threw the first punch following a confrontation with the fan, and the wrestler was tackled by the fan as they spilt across the Berwyn Eagles Club.

While Mickie Knuckles has backtracked on her claims of a stabbing, Lou Nixon doubled down on his YouTube channel during a livestream primarily centred around criticising Top10Wrestling's video on the situation.

After watching the video footage of the incident where Krule punches the fan, Nixon described the situation as a preemptive strike and continued to claim that Krule was stabbed, before he questioned the reliability of police in the United States.

"Krule, it was a preemptive strike because the fan starts pointing fingers and getting in people's faces. I would have done exactly the same. In fact, I wouldn't have give him as long…From there, you're gonna point in someone's face, you're gonna get struck. Considering as well, he'd been a threat all show, he'd been stepping at Krule all show. This was a preemptive strike. Obviously, this Top10Wrestling guy, he's a virgin. He lives in his mother's basement who never leaves the house. He's got no street smarts. He doesn't know the law, he just thinks what the police says is f*cking fact. By the way, the American police, these American police, I'm not gonna get into it but, you know, George Floyd. All the other crazy stuff where the police get away with murder, literally. Are we going to start believing the police?" Nixon said.

"Nobody knew about the stabbing. Nobody seen the stabbing until after when Krule was sitting at the bar backstage and [inaudible] and the nurse had to go, 'I've already patched you up. What's that on your stomach?' He goes, 'Eeeh, I don't know.' When I broke down the brawl, we can actually make out the wound on the stomach. 'No charges doesn't mean no crime.' Exactly, these folk don't have a clue. F*ck the justice system, the US justice system."
