Rey Mysterio Says He Will Bring Alberto Del Rio Back

Alberto El Patron (known during his WWE career as Alberto Del Rio) recently lost a match in AAA to El Mesias that forced him to step away from the promotion (only in storyline, as he has since competed at AAA live events). With WWE acquiring AAA in recent months, talk has spread about the potential of Del Rio heading back to WWE at some point - something he has long spoken about. 

It was reported that WWE had no interest in bringing him back to the WWE main roster, although an exclusive report from Cultaholic revealed that the likes of Andrade and Los Garza were actively pushing for his return. Rey Mysterio is another who is seemingly a fan of Del Rio and is hoping for him to resurface. 

Mysterio made an appearance at last night’s AAA TripleMania XXXIII event, and responded to the fans’ chants of “Alberto”. 

The WWE Hall Of Famer told fans, “I’ll bring him, wait on me.”

It isn’t known whether Mysterio meant solely just bringing him back to AAA, or whether that means a WWE return is on the horizon.
