WWE Speed disappeared in early July as the company stopped taping matches for the show at TV tapings, and there have been no episodes of the X/Twitter series in several weeks.

There has been no official announcement about WWE Speed's status, with WWE Speed Women's Champion Sol Ruca even noting this week that she didn't have an answer about what was going on with the show.

WWE Speed is believed to have been quietly scrapped, and it is due to WWE's deal with X/Twitter expiring, with Dave Meltzer reporting in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the company's agreement with X was ending.

WWE Speed began airing on X/Twitter in April 2024 and served as a condensed version of WWE's usual programming, with non-title matches having three-minute time limits and title matches having five-minute time limits.

WWE created the men's and women's WWE Speed championships. The men's belt is still held by El Grande Americano, in addition to Sol Ruca's reign as WWE Speed Women's Champion.

One of the highlight moments from WWE Speed was the two-minute match between Ivar and Yoshiki Inamura in which they battered each other before Ivar picked up the win over the Pro Wrestling NOAH talent.
