For the second straight year, WWE is headed to Las Vegas, Nevada for WrestleMania in 2026, with reports at the time suggesting that the change in location from the scheduled event in New Orleans was all due to Las Vegas being the highest bidder. When it comes to the finances that surrounded this change, a report has emerged to reveal how much WWE will be getting from the city.
First reported by LV SportsBiz, it is slated that WWE are set to receive up to $6 million from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority over WrestleMania weekend in 2026, which will take place on April 18 and 19. It is noted that on top of WrestleMania Saturday & Sunday, the city is also paying for Monday Night RAW, Friday Night SmackDown, NXT Stand & Deliver, WWE World and other events, and the Hall Of Fame ceremony, all included within this figure.
The city’s public tourism agency will be having a monthly meeting on Wednesday in which it is assumed that the expense will be formally approved. In the report it is said that last year’s WrestleMania brought in $5 million in site fees and $4.2 million in tax credits.
In the last couple of months, reported prices were revealed ahead of time regarding WrestleMania 42, prompting some outrage as the cheapest seats per night totalled up to $427.
