WWE TV may soon feature the voice of Enzo Amore for the first time in eight years.
False Finish has reported that Amore - who currently wrestles as Real1 - has been at the WWE Performance Center recently and he was at the facility on Tuesday, May 19 ahead of WWE NXT.
This comes on the heels of a report from Ibou on Self Made Sessions that WWE were in contact with Amore during the week of WrestleMania 42 and the company are looking at signing a number of tag teams.
"They're eyeing numerous teams that exist and maybe some old ones. Again, what I can tell you flat out and confirm is that Enzo was in contact with WWE the week of WrestleMania. What I can tell you for a fact also is that they're looking at a bunch of teams they want to sign from different companies all around the world," Ibou stated.
Whether this means a reunion between Enzo Amore and Big Cass (AKA Big Bill) within WWE is under consideration is unknown, but reports have noted that the belief within All Elite Wrestling as of April was that Big Bill's contract was set to expire at the end of May or the beginning of June.
Big Bill and Real1 previously teamed together in WWE as Enzo & Cass from 2013 until they split in the summer of 2017. The pair then had a critically-panned feud which at one point saw Big Cass face The Big Show at SummerSlam 2017 with Enzo Amore suspended above the ring in a shark cage. While Enzo and Cass did not capture gold within WWE, they were a very popular tag team on NXT and then the WWE main roster, especially through Amore's pre-match promos.
Enzo Amore was released by WWE in 2018 due to allegations of sexual assault against him. The investigation from the Phoenix Police Department was dropped in May of that year due to insufficient evidence.
Later in 2018, Amore attended Survivor Series of his own volition and, after removing a disguise, stood on his seat and began shouting his catchphrases before he was kicked out of the venue by security.
Outside of a two-year spell in MLW, Amore has primarily wrestled on the independent wrestling scene since his WWE release, although he did briefly pop up in TNA Wrestling in 2025, performing on the Slammiversary pre-show in a 4th Rope vs. TNA match that saw Amore, Josh Bishop and Zilla Fatu pick up a win over Steve Maclin, Jake Something, and Mance Warner.
Amore revealed in 2025 that he reached out to All Elite Wrestling but the promotion had no interest in using him.
