The Young Bucks of Matt and Nick Jackson may finish up in professional wrestling when their current AEW contracts expire, it has been revealed.
Dave Meltzer has noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that he has heard their current deals might be The Young Bucks' last in the industry.
"I've heard it discussed that this might be their last contract. You know, people always say that, and then there's so much money thrown at you afterwards to stay, so you always do. But, like I said, we'll see what happens when the deal’s up. I mean, Adam Page will probably still wrestle for many more years," Meltzer said.
The Young Bucks founded All Elite Wrestling with Kenny Omega, Hangman Page, Cody Rhodes, and Tony Khan in January 2019. The Elite signed new multi-year deals with the company in August of 2023, and while the exact length of their contracts was not publicly disclosed, Sean Ross Sapp noted on a Fightful Select Answers Q&A in December 2025 that Matt and Nick Jackson are signed at least through 2027.
Matt Jackson is currently 41, while Nick Jackson is 37. They will already be remembered as one of the best tag teams in pro wrestling history, having held gold in AEW, Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.
