Tama Tonga has been written off TV by WWE, with The Bloodline member reportedly dealing with an injury.

The former WWE Tag Team Champion was attacked by LA Knight on the April 18 edition of WWE SmackDown, with Knight slamming Tama’s arm in a door to rule him out of being in Jacob Fatu’s corner at WrestleMania 41.

Per a report from Bodyslam.net, the attack was done to write Tama off TV so he could recuperate from injury, and whilst the nature of Tama Tonga’s injury has not been disclosed, it is believed to be serious enough that it could require surgery. As such, it is unknown how much action Tama Tonga will miss.

Tama Tonga joins brother Tonga Loa on the sidelines, with Tonga Loa expected back on the road sometime around June after suffering a torn bicep at Survivor Series WarGames in November 2024.

This latest injury sees the Bloodline running two deep, with Solo Sikoa and new United States Champion Jacob Fatu the only ones left standing. Fatu defeated Knight at WrestleMania 41 night one without any assistance.
