Chad Gable was written off WWE TV by Penta on June 23, and it seems that Gable could miss some time due to injury.
On Raw, Penta ‘snapped’ Gable’s arm in a backstage segment, with officials rushing to attend to the former WWE Tag Team Champion. A report from BodySlam.net suggests that Gable is legitimately injured, with the angle designed to write him off TV.
Gable’s injury is currently undisclosed, and there is no word on how much time he could miss from the ring, although BodySlam’s report suggests the angle was either to fully write him off or to help ‘reduce’ Gable’s workload as he recovers. It should be noted that Gable has been working with a taped up elbow for several weeks.
The American Made leader has arguably been one of WWE’s MVPs of 2025, with some suggesting that Gable has been pulling double duty by also wrestling as the masked El Grande Americano.
El Grande Americano's last singles match came on the June 17 taping of WWE Speed with a win over Berto, with Gable's last televised match coming in a singles loss to AJ Styles on the June 9 edition of WWE Raw.
