Private Party celebrating their AEW World Tag Team Title win on November 2024 episode of Collision

There has already been a lot of contract discussion in 2025, especially when it comes to deals expiring in AEW. This year has already seen the exits of Ricky Starks, the Lucha Brothers, Malakai Black, Miro, and Mariah May, all of whom signed with WWE, and more could potentially be on their way out.

In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that contracts for Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen are on the verge of expiring in the very near future, though no details have been revealed when it comes to the exact time frame on that, and whether or not Tony Khan and AEW are interested in keeping them on board.

Private Party are one of the “AEW Originals” still on the roster, signing all the way back in 2019, and looking on the verge to being major players in the tag team division after an upset win over The Young Bucks on just the second ever episode of AEW Dynamite. It would take the pairing until 2024 to finally win the AEW World Tag Team Championships, defeating The Bucks once again before eventually losing the gold to The Hurt Syndicate. Since that defeat back in January of this year, Private Party have not been seen on AEW programming.
