WWE officially unveiled their plans for AAA Triplemania 34 during Backlash, with it being announced AAA's biggest event of the year will be a two-night affair on Friday, September 11 and Sunday, September 13, with the second night being held in Arena CDMX in Mexico City.

Triplemania has often been a one-night show during the event's history and that was going to be the case in 2026. According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, Triplemania 34 was originally set for Arena CDMX on Saturday, September 12 but WWE changed those plans in the early part of 2026 to what ended up being announced.

There is also heavy speculation within WWE that night one of Triplemania 34 could take place in the United States, and there are plans to integrate AAA more into WWE programming to expand the reach of the Lucha Libre promotion.

Previous reports have noted the reason no location was announced for the September 11 night of Triplemania was because of major visa issues affecting AAA, with Las Vegas under consideration for Triplemania 34 night one.

Triplemania 34 will be the second Triplemania since WWE and Fillip completed their acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide in 2025.
