Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar is not guaranteed to take place at WrestleMania 42.
The two talents interacted during the 2026 men's Royal Rumble match on Saturday night, with Lesnar getting the better of the exchange as he managed to hit Femi with a German suplex and later followed up by eliminating the former NXT Champion from the match, ending Oba's Rumble after 39 minutes, after he entered at #1. Lesnar was eliminated soon after dispatching of Oba Femi as he was clotheslined over the top rope by Cody Rhodes and LA Knight.
Despite the Rumble elimination seemingly setting up a meat match at WrestleMania 42, Dave Meltzer has reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar is not 100 per cent for WWE's biggest show of the year.
"That's not 100 per cent by the way…it could happen. I'm not saying it's not happening. I'm just saying that I was told this one's not 100 per cent, and that was the Lesnar and Oba Femi match," Meltzer said.
WrestleMania 42 will be taking place at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19. Already official for WrestleMania 42 is CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship after Reigns chose Punk as his opponent, courtesy of his Royal Rumble win.
