WWE 2K video games have a difficult history with Nintendo consoles as the only WWE 2K game so far to release on a Nintendo platform in WWE 2K18 was a disaster.
2017's title from 2K Games was littered with bugs, glitches, and overall performance issues which made the game virtually unplayable for anyone who bought the Nintendo Switch version of WWE 2K18 over the options available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
For anyone still in possession of a Nintendo Switch copy of WWE 2K18, however, they may finally be able to play the game if they were an early adopter of the Nintendo Switch 2, which was released on June 5. YouTuber RGT 85 has uploaded a video of the worst games from Nintendo Switch and it has revealed WWE 2K18 finally runs without any issues, as originally planned, when played on Nintendo Switch 2.
Anyone looking to buy a Switch copy of WWE 2K18 will have to pay more than they may expect, however. WWE 2K18 is no longer available digitally from the Nintendo eShop and physical copies of the game begin around £32 in the United Kingdom, with prices around $60 in the United States. The game can also only be played offline as the WWE 2K18 servers have been shut down.
2K Games have announced they plan to release new WWE 2K titles on the Nintendo Switch 2.
