WWE filed to trademark 'Dorian Van Dux' with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on February 18 and the wrestler under the new in-ring name has been revealed to be Mike D Vecchio.
The belief was the new name was for Vecchio and the Belgian pro wrestler has now confirmed as much, changing his social media profiles to Dorian Van Dux alongside a Bloodsport-esque vignette.
Mike D Vecchio signed with WWE in 2025 and he was part of the October 2025 class at the WWE Performance Center. Vecchio was a popular talent on the European independent wrestling scene, performing for the likes of wXw, RevPro, and PROGRESS. Mike D has yet to appear on WWE TV, but he has wrestled a number of NXT house show matches under his real name of Mike Derudder. He wrestled as Dorian Van Dux for the first time at NXT's house show on February 21 in Sanford, Florida as he teamed with Harlem Lewis in a loss to Malik Blade and Romeo Moreno.
Another member of Vecchio's WWE Performance Center class in Nathaniel Cranton was recently renamed to Tristan Angels, which was also trademarked by WWE on February 18. Aigle Blanc was also part of their class and he was renamed to Elio LeFleur.
