Man Scammed Out Of $42,000 By Rhea Ripley Impersonator

A 64-year-old Pennsylvania man has lost tens of thousands of dollars to a scammer pretending to be WWE wrestler Rhea Ripley.

WPXI-TV Pittsburgh has reported that a 64-year-0ld resident of Kittanning, Pennsylvania, was scammed out of $42,700 in March 2026 by either one individual or several people impersonating Rhea Ripley. The person or persons who carried out the scheme are unknown at this time, Pennsylvania State Police noted.

According to a public information officer for state police, the victim refused to cooperate with the troopers' investigation.

As of the time of writing, Rhea Ripley has not commented on the situation, and she has not posted on social media since an Instagram post about her recovery from injury five days ago.

This isn't the first time scammers have impersonated a WWE wrestler to scam people out of money. Between 2018 and 2023, Alfred Mancinelli, who passed away in the summer of 2023 at 79 years old, was scammed out of around $1 million in retirement savings and his granddaughter's college fund by an imposter or multiple imposters posing as Alexa Bliss after Mancinelli became convinced he was in a romantic relationship with her.
