Luchasaurus' beatdown at the hands of The Demand wasn't simply part of a storyline, and the former Killswitch is suffering from a legitimate injury.

Luchasaurus was in action on the Zero Hour of AEW Worlds End, teaming with Jurassic Express tag team partner Jack Perry and JetSpeed against Josh Alexander and The Demand. Luchasaurus was attacked by Ricochet, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun during his entrance, and the dinosaur resurfaced with a heavily bandaged arm and shoulder later in the match to help Jack Perry pin Ricochet.

Luchasaurus' arm was still taped at Dynamite New Year's Smash on December 31, and he was laid out once again by The Demand during the AEW National Title match between Jack Perry and Ricochet, with the heel faction smashing a barricade repeatedly against Luchasaurus' arm following the contest.

Fightful Select has reported that Luchasaurus is dealing with a legitimate shoulder injury, and he will miss time in the ring as a result of the issue. It is unknown if Luchasaurus will require surgery.

Amid Luchasaurus' absence, Jack Perry will remain on TV working as a singles competitor. Jurassic Express reunited as a tag team in 2025, but Perry returned to singles action as an emergency replacement for Darby Allin in the Continental Classic.
