Liv Morgan's Stalker Believed To Have Been Deported From The US

Shawn Chan, the man arrested for allegedly stalking reigning Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, may now be on his way out of the country. In recent weeks, it had been learned that Chan had been found not guilty for reason of insanity after being previously charged with interstate domestic violence. 

He had been detained since his arrest, with it noted that the US Marshal Service would coordinate with ICE to release Chan into their custody before a deportation process was to begin as he wished to return to Canada. This week, he was no longer listed as being held in Hernando County, Florida, implying that the deportation process had occurred and that he’d been reported from the United States and sent over to Canada. 

Shawn Chan was arrested back on June 3, 2025 and indicted on one charge of interstate domestic violence, facing up to five years in prison. He allegedly flew from Scarborough, Ontario, Canada to Orlando, Florida on May 26, 2025, telling customs that he was staying at the WWE Performance Center. He would allegedly travel to the home of Liv Morgan, circling the property several times, before entering into the backyard and trying to enter the house. He would leave a note for his departure two hours later;

"It's me Shawn the guy you all hang out with on [name of gaming platform] online. You've been trying to contact me, or should I say reach out to me when I'm absent from that game. So who's the stalker huh?!  I NEVER said and did anything bad for over 10 years, yet you all dared hating me for no reason. I came here to pay just a friendly visit, nothing more. Yet, I'm the one who looks like a stalker thx to all of you. And you all think I'm going to have empathy, sympathy and care about any of you anymore? I will start talking and doing whatever I want despite all your shoosh finger faces that you all make.  Yea, I just wanted to let you know that I was here."

Chan underwent psychological evaluations, being determined as being unable to appreciate the wrongfulness of his actions, being diagnosed with delusional disorder and adjustment disorder with depressed and anxious moods.
