Las Vegas Making Concessions To Finalise Deal For WWE WrestleMania 42

WWE WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas is close to being finalised and a deal could be announced in the near future.

WrestleMania 42 was originally scheduled for New Orleans, with an announcement even being made earlier this year about WrestleMania at the Caesars Superdome.

It suddenly emerged in May, however, that WWE had pulled out of WrestleMania 42 taking place in New Orleans and planned to hold the show in Las Vegas for the second year in a row on April 18 and April 19, 2026. There were issues around moving the show to Las Vegas at short notice, however, as an unannounced concert at Allegiant Stadium close to the planned WrestleMania dates would leave WWE with little time to set up for their biggest show of the year. The Las Vegas Convention Center also reportedly didn't have as much space as it did for WWE World in 2025 due to an event already being booked for the venue.

Those logistical issues may have been taken care of, though, as Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer has reported that WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas is close to being a done deal after Vegas made concessions.

"Vegas very close to being a done deal for WrestleMania next year. There were a few hurdles to be cleared and several were this morning. Vegas is making a lot of concessions to clear the way for them," Alvarez said.

WrestleMania 42 will be the third time Las Vegas has hosted WrestleMania 42 following WrestleMania IX and WrestleMania 41.
